Journaling can be a powerful way of being able to deepen your connection to self. During this time when we have been advised to stay inside and focus on our health, journaling can be a wonderful way to process. I have used journaling during different transformational and healing periods in my own life and it is something that we integrate into our retreat experience. These prompts will help you to practice self-love, improve confidence and deepen your connection to your third-eye. The more that you journal, the more you can shift the way that you speak to yourself and break down your perceived limitations/ let go of negative self-talk.

  1. Write a love letter to your younger self. Describe why they are important and how you will protect and celebrate them through the decisions and what you tell yourself everyday.

  2. Imagine someone is writing about your legacy. What would they say? Write about your impact on the world and what kind of a person you were to others.

  3. What helps you to deepen your roots? What are things that make you feel most grounded?

  4. What was a pivotal point in your life that helped you to discover your own resilience? What were you able to break-through? What did you gain from the experience?

  5. How do you feel love? How can you integrate these practices into your everyday life?

Take your time with these journal prompts and be open to whatever comes up. Journaling can be a way to heal emotional wounds. Set up a space where you feel safe! Light some candles and dedicate your writing time to take what you need. After you finish, put your hand over your heart and take three deep breaths.
